- The EU4Health Work programme for 2024 has been adopted and published: https://health.ec.europa.eu/publications/2024-eu4health-work-programme_en and includes, for SoHO, activities strengthening the implementation of the legislation on blood, tissues and cells and organs and in particular:

- Procurement on organisational support to Member States to implement the new Regulation on Substances of Human Origin for an amount of 5.400.000 €
- Procurement on regulatory coherence on Substances of Human Origin based therapies for an amount of 500.000€.

We would like to announce that an updated infographic on organs, blood, tissues and cells in the EU is now published on our website. Extracts for each sector are also available in the thematic landing pages on our website.

The SoHO team has published a permanent call for expressions of interest aiming to establish a list of eligible stakeholder organisations interested in participating in ad-hoc meetings between SoHO stakeholders and representatives of members of the Competent Authorities on Substances of Human Origin Expert Group(CASoHO E01718).
Applications are collected and, when few are available, are evaluated according to two main criteria:
- Being a European (Union)-level association / organisation (or even at international / global level)
- Having an impact on the Substances of Human Origin sector
