Dear colleagues, members, partners,
SIOP Europe, alongside CCI Europe, has made the difficult decision to postpone the Annual Meeting in Valencia (4-8 May 2020) due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
We have been closely monitoring the rapidly changing developments over the last few weeks and we believe the decision to postpone the meeting is the correct one.
The new dates will be confirmed soon, and in the meantime, we kindly ask you to take note of the following:
§ Registration fees: Delegates that have already registered don’t need to take any action since registration will automatically be transferred to the re-scheduled Annual Meeting. Should the new dates not be convenient, the fees will be reimbursed.
§ Accommodation: Hotel bookings can be fully refunded until end of March 2020, if booked via the Annual Meeting website. If you booked directly with the hotel, you will need to contact the relevant hotel for information.
§ Travel: Check directly with your carrier and make arrangements: many airline companies are offering flexible rebooking options.
We truly apologise to all participants, sponsors and partners for any inconvenience. This is a very challenging situation but the health and safety of everyone is our highest priority. Our thoughts and sympathies are with all those affected by COVID-19, their families and the professionals involved in their care.
